Casey is the Office Manager at Co:Lab Pensacola, the business incubator and growth accelerator that is a program of FloridaWest and supported by Pensacola State College. Her role at Co:Lab involves managing day to day incubator operations and tenant relations.
Before joining the Co:Lab team, Casey was the Special Events Coordinator at the University of West Florida Historic Trust where she was in charge of short-term leasing several facilities within the Historic Pensacola Village and at the Pensacola Museum of Art. During her time at the Historic Trust, she helped thousands of local brides and families with wedding and reception planning at the Old Christ Church, Museum of Commerce, and Barkley House. She assisted many area businesses and community groups with utilizing Pensacola’s historic sites for professional meetings and events. The revenue generated by Casey’s work was integral in helping to fund preservation efforts, museum exhibitions, and educational programs offered by the Historic Trust.
Casey is a Pensacola native and a graduate of the University of West Florida with an Interdisciplinary Humanities degree. Her major area of study was Communications. She has also worked in several roles within the University Advancement Division at UWF and brings a background in fundraising and public relations in addition to her experience in property management and event planning.
Outside of the office, Casey loves visiting Perdido Key—either relaxing at Johnson’s Beach or kayaking at Big Lagoon State Park. She’s also a creative type who has been an avid photographer for years and she enjoys taking classes and volunteering for events at First City Arts Center.
